Start here
Two controls. Timing makes the difference.
Choose Arcade, Sports or Missions, then Easy, Normal or Hard. The game's training teaches the actions through play. For a first Arcade run, start on Easy and concentrate on catching rails before chasing a high score.
Tokens
Shift or right mouse
In Arcade, press alone to send your next token toward a target. Press while holding Flight to spend a token on a boost. You can carry up to three tokens, so choose between movement and a shot.
These are the default desktop controls. Mirrored controls swap the mouse buttons; follow the control hints shown in your game. Missions use their own hold-and-release movement, with objectives explained at the start.
01 / Arcade
A Jackpot is at risk. Tickets are yours.
Grinds, gaps, loops and tricks build your Jackpot. It is not banked yet: the Wake around the left, ceiling and floor edges can wipe you out and take that unbanked value.
Hit three Ticket Targets to complete the circuit and turn the whole Jackpot into secured Tickets. Misses leave already-lit circuit targets intact. A wipeout clears the circuit and Jackpot, but secured Tickets survive.
Arcade tokens can power any Ticket Target. Matching a token to its preferred target earns a bonus. A boost can help you reach another rail, but it spends a token you could have used for a target.
Try this: follow a marked Rail Run from its blue gate to its gold gate. Grinding drains rail energy and pushes the Wake back. Leaving energy behind feeds the pursuit. Learn that rhythm before adding riskier tricks.
02 / Sports
The right ball. The right moment.
Sports combines rail riding with basketball, soccer and football shots. Collect the ball that matches the goal and look for the crosshairs marking a shot zone. Reaching a zone with the matching ball creates your opportunity.
Release Flight for an ordinary shot, then use the token control in the zone. The Sports training also teaches boosted shots and how to make room when your ball rack is full.
Try this: watch the next goal before spending a ball. If your rack is full of the wrong balls, use the training's drop-ball lesson to free space for a match.
Arcade and Sports both offer Endless and a three-minute Time Attack. Endless rewards staying in the run; Time Attack gives you a fixed window to make your attempts count.
03 / Missions
Thirty routes through space.
Missions trade the endless chase for a destination. Hold to ride, release to launch, and complete the objective before returning home. Depending on the mission, you will power stations, paint required rails or navigate gates, machinery and obstacles.
Read the mission objective before launching. Getting home is only part of the route: required stations or rail sections must also be completed. Easy, Normal and Hard let you revisit the journey at a different challenge level.
Try this: complete a route safely first, then replay it for a cleaner time. An earlier release can change your approach to the next rail; a shorter route is useful only if it still completes the objective.
Your next attempt
Personal bests and online rankings are different.
You can play locally as a Guest without a Railcade account. Local progress belongs to that browser's storage; clearing it or using a different browser does not carry that progress over automatically.
Eligible players can sign in to protect supported progress and take part in online competition. A personal best records an improvement on your device. An online result also needs connection, eligibility and verification, so a personal best does not promise a new world rank. Leaderboards separate their available modes, difficulties and seasons.
In-game Help & about leads to controls and training. Progress shows your accomplishments. For a missing save, sign-in problem or purchase recovery, use Player help before clearing browser data.

Desktop browser play is available now. Website ads are not currently enabled, and new website ad-removal purchases are paused. Existing purchase access and recovery remain available.
